Is GTA 5 coming out before Christmas? Will Rockstar release it in 2012? The latest rumour suggests it is.
GTA 5 has had a long line of release date rumours, all varying between this October to May 2013. This latest, from Rockstar itself, suggests the next Grand Theft Auto is on track for a 2012 release date.
Spotted on the official GTA 5 page on Rockstar's website, it is rumoured that Rockstar updated the web page to include a release date for the game.
Under the game's details, the release date was 'Q4 2012'. In other words, GTA 5 will be releasing between now and the 31 December 2012.
The website was then updated, once again returning the release date to 'TBA'.
Of course this could very easliy be falsified, so it's hard to trust it. If true then it's very exciting since it comes from Rockstar direct, but we're more than a little suspicious.
Admittedly this does tie in to a lot of previous rumours - such as the 'OCT' seen on all of the vehicles seen in the GTA 5 trailers and screenshots - but why would Rockstar need to update the webpage with a release date just as ambiguous as 'TBA'?
