As has been the trend in recent years, Rockstar Games have confirmed to us that the publisher will not be taking part in this year's E3 Expo.
A representative from the company confirmed that they "don’t have any plans for E3", when asked if the publisher will be in attendance this year.
This marks yet another E3 that Rockstar won't be a part of - meanwhile their parent company, Take-Two, should be at the show in full force with the 2K Games brand.
Does this put a dent in GTA V reveal hopes? We'll have to wait and see when E3 kicks off on June 7th
RELEASE DATE
According to the German chain of retailer GameStop GTA 5 has been listed as tentatively coming out in January, 2012. Given development cycles this is subject to change. This isn't the first time the retailer has accidentally listed a top secret game's release date, only to quickly take it back down. The retailer did the same thing with GTA IV as well, so i'm inclined to think there may be some truth to this.
