GTA 5 may come bundled with PlayStation 3 Super Slim

No precise release date for the Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA 5) – the first major title in the Grand theft auto series since the release of Grand Theft Auto IV and the fifteenth game in the series over all – has so far been announced by Rockstar. It was first expected sometime before the end of this year, but with each passing day it seems just impossible for the game to become available this year.
Many are of the view that GTA 5 will be released as a next-generation PlayStation 3 Super Slim title. Looking at the recently released screenshots from the upcoming action-adventure game also hints that it could be a next-generation title.
Recently the web was abuzz about the leaked pictures of the new PlayStation 3 super slim model. Now there’s news that Rockstar might just exploit the new gaming console and release the GTA 5 along with the release of the new PS3. Releasing GTA 5 in early 2013 as a PlayStation 3 Super Slim title could be a perfect catalyst to help Sony sell more units of its much-rumored next-generation game console.

Japanese electronic and entertainment giant Sony is well-aware of the fact that need to make more efforts to sell more PlayStation 3 consoles. They can do this by releasing a new, slimmer as well as cheaper version, or by bundling it with an eagerly-awaited title like GTA 5.
Upcoming open world action-adventure video game GTA 5 is set in the fictional Los Santos in the state of San Andreas and its adjacent areas, based on the modern Los Angeles and Southern California.
